We were supposed to have a dinner at my place, but this night was horribly hot, so we just escaped for somewhere cool.

We were heading the Oden place in Katamachi
but we changed our mind to Spanish, because my friends speak Spanish and love Spanish.
We just popped in Arroz, the best Spanish around the area.

Somewhere of pig's tail and around.

There are some kinds of noodle in Japan. Kura’s noodle belong to SHINSHU-Noodle, it’s rather thin and elastic.

Dinner Scene at Nakayasu Ryokan

I strongly recommend that you foreigners should have a dinner at a cuisine Ryokan  at least one time during your Japan trip.
“We could not have all these Japanese foods without coming to Ryokan”–
This is what this European couple who have been traveling in Japan for almost 3 weeks said and I  totally agree with it.
Dinner at Ryokan has almost all kinds of Japanese way of cooking foods. You can hardly  have such  an all in one dinner outside Ryokan without going to very expensive fancy restaurants!

Enjoy your dinner at your own room!

Ryokan waitress is serving the guests.

It’s yucky, isn’t it?It is a baigai (little water snail) from the sea here.
Just taste it! It will be for sure your good memory of Japan!

Not so many people know about this restaurant, this is my hiding spot.

This is one of the representative Kanazawa dishes called “JIBUNI”. It is made using thinly sliced duck meat coated with flour or starch and simmered with fu (dried bread-like pieces of gluten), shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots and Japanese parsley in a thick soup.

Look at this little portion of wine!
This was the only thing I was not saticefied there.
